HCT seeks an experienced professional for an interim Associate Vice President, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement at a health system in Chicago. The AVP's responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Being accountable for the strategic vision and execution of sourcing practices that drive optimal value and efficiency across the health system
- Oversees non-labor expense management and leads the supply chain's core components, including Procure to Pay (P2P), supply chain finance, systems, contract lifecycle management, and digital transformation
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sourcing and procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
- Lead complex contract negotiations, securing favorable terms that provide value and mitigate risk. Implement and oversee a robust contract lifecycle management process
- Drive innovation within the sourcing function by leveraging technology, analytics, and best practices. Employ Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to streamline processes and increase efficiency
- Lead the P2P cycle in collaboration with the accounts payable department, ensuring seamless transactions and cost-effectiveness
