What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Manager Operating Room position at HCTHealthcare?
HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Operating Room Nurse Manager, responsible for Endo, PACU, OR and PAT, at a 400 bed facility in Northern California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Making rounds and doing audits during cases
- Help the department transition to EPIC in the middle part of next year
- Ensuring optimal patient outcomes through effective leadership and / or provision of patient care delivery in assigned nursing unit(s) or area(s)
- Consults with nurse leaders and educators on developing strategies for performance improvement.
- Involves physicians, staff and other healthcare team members in the development of plans to manage patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
- Serves as a resource to nursing staff on patient care clinical issues, new policies, and technology.
