\n- Prepare and file requisite formation documents with the Internal Revenue Service
- Review and validate tax forms for withholding purposes
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for both client-based and firm-based projects
- Document, organize, analyze and maintain large data sets on Excel
- Prepare and draft deliverable files to client
- Provide review comments to staff and conduct internal trainings
- International tax special projects including: Form 1099 reporting, BEA reporting, Investor outreach and form collection, FATCA reporting. Specific technical knowledge in these areas is not required as we expect to train the right person to understand these areas and execute.
- Ideal candidate would have work experience in the following areas:
- Preparation of certain international filings:
- Schedules K-2/K-3
- Form 8621
- Form 8865
- Form 8938
- FATCA and CRS reporting
- BEA reporting (BE-10/11, BE-577, BE-120, BE-185)
- Form 1099 reporting (Form 1099- NEC, 1099- MISC, 1099- INT, 1099- DIV)
- Outreach, review and validate tax forms for withholding purposes (W-9, W-8BEN, W-8BENE, W-8IMY, W-8EXP)
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP function.
- Strong data management skills and ability to organize and work with a lot of data points.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time.
- A detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills to communicate status, information gathering, and open items.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience with proven track record of managing a small team.
- Working knowledge of financial statements and basic accounting is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.

This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000.
