SUMMARY

The Office Floater is responsible for supporting various departments and roles within the organization, filling in as needed to ensure seamless operations. This role requires adaptability, a broad skill set, and the ability to quickly learn and take on new tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

· Fill in for absent employees or during peak time.

· Take on roles that may range from receptionist to administrative assistant to other specialized roles.

· Assist with tasks such as filing, data entry, scheduling, and other clerical duties.

· Reception duties include answering phone calls, greeting visitors, sorting, and distributing mail, and provide general information to clients and visitors.

· Part of the front desk duties are to keep the area clean, dispose of all trash from kitchen areas and lobby by the end of the day, assist HR will special projects and other duties as requested.

· Help set up meetings, take minutes when required, and assist with event planning and execution.

· Take on and complete projects as assigned by management.

· Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and clear communication.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • High School diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of office experience; precious experience in a similar Administrative Support Specialist role is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Must be able to learn, analyze and adapt to training in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new roles and responsibilities.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Must be able to adapt to last minute changes and requests
  • Must be able comply with deadlines and work in various tasks at the same time.
  • Must have knowledge of regular standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit, stand and move around the office.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 lbs.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity is needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
  • The ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
