Job Description
Our non-profit client is looking for a passionate individual to fulfill the role of Operations Manager.
Requirements :
- Be a “brand ambassador” at all times.
- Work closely with President and Founder to help drive, organize, and motivate the standing chairs and fundraising teams.
- Attend all Board Meetings (4 X year) – prepare board meeting preparation materials.
- Plan and confirm yearly calendar in conjunction with President and Founder.
- Ensure upkeep and post all related documents / materials to the Google Drive.
- Manage and maintain all technology including but not limited to : Wordpress, Bloomerang CRM, QGiv, donation platforms, Google account.(Ad words, nonprofits manager, gmail account), Microsoft 365 accounts, fundraising platforms.
- Maintain and update website content using Wordpress in conjunction with Direct Design (when needed).
- Responsible for all social media marketing – development and execution on relevant platforms : Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Create and distribute press releases.
- Create and distribute weekly email marketing campaigns through Bloomerang CRM.
- Attend networking opportunities when appropriate.
- Work with accounting firm and standing chair to maintain and reconcile all financial data across Bloomerang CRM and QuickBooks.
- Maintain steady communication and relationships between funded researchers and their liaisons to ensure necessary grant guidelines are followed.
- Event planning – involved in the development, planning, and success of all fundraising events including the largest annual Gala.
- Maintain day-to-day administrative communications and emails.
- Provide the necessary marketing collateral for all events, Teams, and Standing Chairs to assist with fundraising success.
- Aid in the pursuit of existing identified grant opportunities, as well as the discovery of new. Submit Request for Proposals (RFP’s) following initial contact. Write and submit full grant proposals upon acceptance.
- Make recommendations to the foundation’s leadership on overall efficiencies to support the mission.
- Report to CTF President and work together 1-2 days per week.
- Full time (40 hrs. a week) work from home position with some flexibility required for the occasional evening / weekend time needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Non-profit Management, or a related field.
