JOB SUMMARY:
- Quality leader for Ligon Hydraulics
- Oversee implementation of effective Quality systems at all plants
- Drive continuous improvement process for all plants with month over month quality performance improvement
- Achieve agreed upon annual goal of PPM and cost of Quality at each plant
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality systems:
Coordinate implementation of effective quality systems at all plants. Achieve industry leading quality systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Coordinate implementation of effective continuous improvement process at all plants
Lead and facilitate the Ligon Hydraulics Quality Committee to drive continuous improvement. Achieve agreed upon
Quality Metrics:
Coordinate all plants having appropriate quality data and metrics to measure performance and are using to drive performance approval
Key accounts:
Make sure quality performance at key accounts is acceptable. If necessary, work with key accounts in achieving acceptable quality performance.
Quality audits:
Coordinate quality audits as required to validate effective quality processes.
Quality resources:
Make sure we have quality resources at each plant to achieve quality goals.
Cost of quality:
Reduce cost of quality per agreed upon annual objectives
Customers:
Make presentations at key accounts or key new business opportunities to help win business

- Seasoned professional with business management experience

- Sense of urgency when required
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or related field of study.
- Experience in establishing and implementing Quality systems and processes and successfully driving improvement in quality performance to acceptable levels.
- Experience in successfully managing an effective continuous improvement program
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality driving annual performance improvement.
- Knowledge of Toyota or similar quality systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
