Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations of infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and injuries.
- Administer vaccinations and provide preventive care services.
- Administers and orders for diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiograms and lab tests.
- Monitor growth and development milestones.
- Educate parents or guardians on child health, nutrition, and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in community outreach programs and health education initiatives.
- Address concerns and questions from parents or guardians regarding their child's health.
- Stay updated on medical advancements and guidelines related to pediatric care.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- State medical license to practice as a pediatrician.
- Board certification in pediatrics (or board eligible)
- Residency training in pediatrics.
- 3 years of experience as a Pediatrician
- Experience with EclinicalWorks is a plus.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy for pediatric patients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
