Key Responsibilities:
- Manage residential remodeling and repair projects, overseeing every detail from planning to punch-out.
- Supervise and motivate field crews—ensuring efficiency, accountability, and quality workmanship.
- Step into the field as needed to assist with carpentry, repairs, installations, or problem-solving to meet project deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients—building trust, communicating clearly, and managing expectations.
- Read blueprints and scopes of work to plan and execute projects in compliance with local building codes and design intent.
- Coordinate material procurement and subcontractors while managing project budgets and schedules.
- Participate in company operations, working closely with leadership to improve systems, workflows, and team performance.
- Train and mentor field staff to maintain HDR’s standard of excellence across every job site.
- Support marketing and sales efforts by building strong client relationships and promoting HDR’s premium services.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven leadership in residential remodeling, construction, or high-end home improvement.
- Skilled across multiple trades including carpentry, flooring, tile, drywall, light plumbing and electrical, windows, doors, decks, and general repairs.
- Ability to lead by example—comfortable in both a managerial and hands-on role.
- Experience managing projects, people, timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- High level of professionalism and respect when working in client homes—whether occupied or vacant.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems and drive results.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a personal toolset.

- Sales or client service experience in a remodeling or construction setting.

- Familiarity with construction management software or digital tools.
