Senior Oracle DBA with Load Balancing and MySQL
Responsibilities:
- Database Maintenance: Ensure the physical database is maintained according to established standards.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and test backup and recovery scenarios.
- Load Balancing: Configure and manage load balancing solutions to distribute database workloads efficiently.
- MySQL Management: Manage MySQL databases, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve database-related issues across production, test, and development environments.
- Collaboration: Work with development teams, capacity planning, and other teams to address database performance and access issues.
- Security: Implement and maintain database security measures.
Requirements
Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle RDBMS (version 12c, 18c, 19c)
- MySQL (version 5.7, 8.0)
- Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)
- Oracle Data Pump
- Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
- Experience with Oracle Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), MySQL certifications, etc.
- Experience: Several years of experience with Oracle databases, MySQL, and load balancing technologies.
