Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to LEAD our teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics, physical education or related fields and a genuine love for working with children and young athletes. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for teaching gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive environment that encourages personal growth and teamwork.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging gymnastics training programs tailored to various skill levels.
- Instruct students in proper techniques for gymnastics movements, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and confidence.
- Organize and supervise practice sessions, ensuring all participants are engaged and learning.
- Monitor the progress of each student, adjusting training methods as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in gymnastics coaching or related fields such as physical education,cheerleading, martial arts, or judo.
- Strong background in working with students of various ages in a gym or health club setting.
- Ability to educate students on proper techniques while ensuring their safety at all times.
- Flexible enough to participate in all offsite activities, such as gymnastics meets and showcases held within a 100 mile radius. (Employer paid)
- Experience in childcare or lifeguard roles is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check once a year.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all participants.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
