Racquet Sports Footwear Business Manager

HEAD USA is recruiting a Racquet Sports Footwear Business Manager. This position will report directly into the Vice President of Marketing located in Phoenix, Arizona. The individual will be responsible for managing the Racquet Sports Footwear business for both the US and Canadian (North American) market places.

This a hands-on role that will directly support the marketing and sales efforts in the US and Canada. The position will require a passion for racquet sports, a sound knowledge of the racquet sports marketplace/retail landscape and an engaging and dynamic personality.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Development and management of the racquet sports footwear product ranges for the North American market

·      Development and management of sales and marketing programs for the North American market

·      Forecasting and product planning with the Logistics Team

·      Working closely with the Communication’s Team to develop marketing and sales campaigns

·      Liaison to the headquarter product and marketing Teams located in Austria

     In order to perform the job successfully we are looking for the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent work experience (MBA would be an asset)
• 3-5 years of Product Management experience
• Strong understanding of business and marketing both domestic and globally (asset)
• Sports retail and/or racquet sports footwear industry experience (an asset)
• Flexibility to adapt to change and moving priorities  
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Thrives in a Team environment, however is also self-guided (goal and task oriented)
• A passion for sports and active living (racquet sports would be an asset)
• Innovative and creative mind set (asset)
• Proficiencies in MS Windows programs (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Word) is a must
• SAP and Essbase experience (asset)

This position would be based out of our US Racquet Sports office in Phoenix, Arizona.

Estimate travel up to 30% of the time under “normal conditions”

Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000
