Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sewing construction and the ability to work with various fabrics using industrial sewing machines. This role involves fabricating and sewing high-quality pillows, cushion, drapes and furniture while ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications. We are a furniture/upholstery manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines to fabricate high-quality pillows, cushion, drapes and furniture according to specifications.
- Perform high-quality pillows, cushion, drapes and furniture construction tasks, including cutting, stitching, and finishing.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in inventory management of fabrics and materials used in production.
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role within textiles construction.
- Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines.
- Strong understanding of fabric types and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42 – 45 per week
