- Coach and guide a team of campers (ages 5-8), introducing them to basic soccer skills and guiding them through fun camp games and activities that enhance motor, social, and emotional development.
- Daily activities include soccer skills and drills, swimming, arts and crafts, STEM activities, moon bounce, playground time, and soccer scrimmages.
- Create a fun and engaging environment that encourage teamwork, creativity, and skill development.
- Manage camper behavior and ensure a safe environment by consistently following camp protocols and promoting both physical and emotional well-being.
- Serve as a positive role model by representing D.C. United and Headfirst professionally to campers, families, and staff.
- Be reliable, punctual, and committed to your campers' growth, learning, and enjoyment in a team-oriented environment.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, always maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere for campers.
- 2 years of experience working with children in sports, camps, or school settings, ideally with younger children (ages 5-8).
- Passionate about working with young children and fostering a love for soccer; basic soccer knowledge is a plus.
- Skilled in leading fun, meaningful activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and skill development.
- Able to manage camper behavior positively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Comfortable interacting with families, maintaining open and friendly communication.
- Able to remain upright and standing for multiple hours at a time, to walk and/or run quickly around large outdoor grass and dirt-covered fields, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sports equipment.
- Committed to adhering to the D.C. United Camp Cell-Phone Free policy, powering down and putting away cell phones for the duration of your shift.
- Work in soccer, being active and outdoors all summer in Bethesda, MD.

- Schedule Monday-Friday 745 am-330 pm
- Compensation $15.65 / hour
- Extended Employment Opportunities Passing & dribbling and goal scoring small-group lessons Monday - Friday from 315 - 400 pm (paid at $43.75 per lesson).
