Worship Director (Blended Worship Leader)Overview:
This role bridges traditional choral leadership with congregational worship, creating a dynamic and engaging worship experience with a 75% traditional / 25% contemporary mix. The leader will guide both the choir and congregation in meaningful worship, blending time-honored hymns with select contemporary elements. Strong vocal leadership is preferred to inspire participation and excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the congregation and choir in worship, fostering both reverence and engagement.
- Direct and rehearse the choir, ensuring musical excellence and spiritual depth.
- Select and arrange music that maintains a balance of traditional hymns and modern worship songs.
- Work with instrumentalists and vocalists to create a cohesive worship flow.
- Encourage congregational participation, making worship accessible to all.
- Collaborate with pastoral staff to align music with the church’s vision and sermon themes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong vocalist with choral background or worship leader background
- Instrument: Piano/Guitar
- Passionate about worship and skilled in blending traditional and contemporary styles.
