A day in the life...
An Overnight Guest Services Agent is responsible for all overnight guest services. You will be the primary point of contact for guests at our lodging properties
Requirements:Key Accountabilities:
- You will be responsible for the daily operational tasks of the front desk. Greet guests, handle check-ins, checkouts, and guest requests in a friendly, attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Answering telephones and assisting guests by phone. Responding to software’s from the in-room tablets and assisting guests by SMS or app. Responding in person to any guest calls and assisting to the guest’s satisfaction which may include the occasional cleaning of bathrooms, making beds, plunging toilets, picking up trash, or assisting guests with luggage, and more.
- You will answer all incoming calls, assisting with any guest needs. Know the special features, amenities, and services of the properties and Pacific City area. Utilize various software to make reservations, communicate between departments and submit work orders to ensure that guest needs are delivered.
You will own this if you have...
- Previous front desk/guest service experience in a hotel and/or resort setting preferred (not required).
- Previous experience working alone and/or working overnight is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work within the hours of 9pm to 7am. The “typical” shift of the OVGS team is 4 ten-hour days per week.
- Experience with cash handling and completing customer service transactions.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured is required. You may be required to attend to a guest in a sister property from where you are located, and company vehicles will be used in those instances.
- Must be 18 years or older.
