The Role
We are seeking a full-time experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help us grow our CNS capabilities at our clinical research site located in Chesterfield, MO. The ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality patient care and safety, has experience treating the geriatric patient population (bonus points for experience treating patients with memory disorders), and enjoys providing patient education.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the physician in charge of the clinical trial
- Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits
- Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol
- Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants’ eligibility
- Maintains proper documentation
- Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
- Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports
- Completes psychometric ratings according to scales and study protocols
- Mixes investigational product (IP) according to study protocols, as needed
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Master's program
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of Missouri required
- 2 years of work experience as an advanced provider required
- Previous experience managing and treating geriatric population preferred
- Previous experience treating patients with memory disorders a big plus!
- Previous experience in the clinical research industry preferred
- Strong personal character and ethical values
- Adaptable working as a team, able and willing to wear multiple hats
