Description
The entry-level Automotive Technician (Oil Change Technician) quickly and efficiently performs routine maintenance and identify the cause of breakdowns and repair them using the most optimal solutions.
- Perform general express technician services as needed
- Diagnose, repair and maintain vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, etc.
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers
- Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology
Qualifications
As an Automotive Technician (Oil Change Technician), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician:
- Adhere to the company’s uniform policy
- Auto repair experience preferred but not required
- Dealership service department experience preferred but not required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment
- Must provide own tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Good work ethic
- Must work well with others
- Must be flexible with schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
