Description
BDC /Internet Sales Consultants are responsible for monitoring internet leads and providing client follow-up. You must be a customer-service oriented individual with excellent organizational skills in order to manage incoming customer leads.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitoring and follow-up internet leads from our website, dealer, manufacturer and third-party sites
- Determining each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
- Learning, understanding and adhering to call and email scripts
- Setting and confirming appointments, following up for each shown or missed appointment
- Gathering information for customers and getting that information back to them in a timely manner
- Meeting with the sales managers and BDC Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis
- Following-up with clients that are connected to the dealership for business development
- Demonstrate an understanding that business is built on customer satisfaction, and being devoted to guaranteeing customer satisfaction
- Prospect on a day-to-day basis by phone, mail and e-mail- maintain a prospect development system
- Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction Understand the dealerships inventory on a daily basis
- Introduce customers to the Service Department personnel to emphasize to customers the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service
- Forecast goals at the beginning of each month
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled
- Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year Automotive BDC experience strongly preferred.
- Strong follow-up skills
- Highly proficient computer skills
- Quick response time
- Excellent written skills (grammar & spelling)
- A positive attitude, exceptional work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Professional, ethical and a team player
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Must have a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to meet drug free workplace requirement and pass a background and MVR check
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including, weekends and holidays
