Description
Service Advisors are responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, assessing customer concerns, and providing cost estimates.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serve as liaison between the service manager, shop foreman, parts personnel, technicians and warranty administration
- Greet Customers and offer excellent customer service from service reception to release of vehicle
- Write and verify accurate repair orders and include supporting documentation
- Inspect vehicles and apply proper resources to accurately identify and verify vehicle mileage and service needs
- Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete
- Review vehicle inspections with customers
- Prepare repair estimates
- Contact customers to keep them in the loop throughout the repair process and communicate when the vehicle is ready for pickup
- Ensure that parts are ordered for approved repairs/services
- Invoice and collect payments from customers for services rendered
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Consult with technicians regarding necessary repairs.

Requirements:

- Must possess excellent customer service and selling skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must have computer proficiency
- Must be flexible with schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
