Toyota Rent a Car is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Car Rental Agent. As a Car Rental Agent, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the car rental industry.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the appropriate vehicle for their needs both in person and online.
• Provide detailed information about rental policies, rates, and available options.
• Complete rental agreements accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documents are collected.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, documenting any damages or issues.
• Making sure rental cars are being cleaned appropriately after each rental and are organized in their designated area.
• Coordinate vehicle reservations, ensuring availability and proper allocation of vehicles.
• Assist customers with any inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and clean rental office.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, including vehicle features and local attractions, to
• Work closely with our other agents and your rental manager daily.
• Work with body shops, hotels, and insurance companies daily.
• During peak times, Clean the exterior of vehicle. Ensure interior of vehicle is clean.
• Perform related tasks as directed by managers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and excellent driving record
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles
• Effective verbal communication skills with customers, co-workers and management
• Must be able to carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management due to operational needs.
• Must be able to work days, nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age due to insurance requirements.
• Must be able to work outside year-round.
• Must write and communicate in English and Spanish
