This role is responsible for maintaining our commitment to delivering high-performance and energy-efficient lighting solutions to our customers. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and supply chain. You will work closely with various teams to optimize production efficiency, manage inventory levels, and maintain quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong background in operations management within the manufacturing industry. This role has no direct reports. Key Details :

Work Days and Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.
Location : This is an onsite position located in Addison, TX.
Compensation : Based on background, experience and comprehensive benefits package.
Work Eligibility : Must be authorized to work in the United States.
This position is under Heads Up Technologies but will be working in the Alto Aviation business unit. A new employee to the organization will be employed by Alto Aviation.

What you’ll do

Production Support : Coordinate across production teams to develop and implement production schedules that meet customer demand while maximizing resource utilization.

Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with Supply Chain, Production Cells, Manufacturing Engineering, and Customer Service to address production issues, resolve customer complaints, and support new product production launches.

Supply Chain Coordination : Collaborate with Buyers / Supply Chain to ensure material availability and interact with suppliers to manage procurement activities / mitigate supply chain risks.

Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain quality control measures such as testing and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs across assigned operations.

Performance Reporting : Generate regular reports on key performance metrics such as production output, capacity planning / utilization, and on-time delivery, providing insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.

What will make you successful in this role (skills)

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

3 years of experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.

Motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Prefer manufacturing experience in aerospace, materials planning, warehousing, logistics, shipping.
