Job Summary
Healdsburg Unified is seeking internal candidates interested in serving as the Varsity Cross Country Coach at Healdsburg High School. This sport is included in the Fall 2025 season, with the stipend being paid at the conclusion of the season.
Job Description / Essential Elements :
JOB SUMMARY :
Knowledge of fundamentals and coaching techniques; ability to motivate student; work with parents and community; organizational and leadership skills; and commitment to development of sportsmanship in players and coaches.
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma, CPR certificate, First Aid Certificate, Tuberculosis Test (negative results) and a valid Class C California Driver's License. Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate (ASCC). CIF Certificate required for HHS level coaches.
HUSD Fingerprint Live Scan and subsequent receipt of Department of Justice clearance required post offer / pre-employment.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong leadership in player development, sportsmanship, integrity and character development. Qualified candidates should also possess strong communication and organization skills. They must demonstrate knowledge of the skills and strategies of the sport as it pertains to interscholastic athletics in California.
