The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and monitoring the warehouse stocks. They are also responsible for receiving the stocks, handling merchandise, and preparing outgoing shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing all outgoing orders promptly.
- Follow company standard operation procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs) related to warehouse.
- Product receiving.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Ensure Warehouse area is maintained in an orderly fashion.
- Maintain general cleanliness of warehouse and equipment.
- Perform inventory counting every 2 months.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of assistant experience required
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Experience dealing with a high volume of orders in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of orders being processed
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Computer Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience in inventory software and databases preferred
