Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine health needs and develop care plans.
- Perform sonography as required for diagnostic purposes.
- Administer IV infusions and manage medication delivery.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
- Provide health coaching to patients, educating them on managing their conditions effectively.
- Execute gastric lavage procedures when necessary.
- Assist in suturing minor wounds and injuries as part of patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license with experience in outpatient settings preferred.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and clinical skills.
- Experience in sonography is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of IV infusion protocols and specimen collection processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective health coaching and patient education.
- Familiarity with pediatric care is desirable.
- Ability to work independently in various field locations while maintaining professionalism.
