Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PRN Bilingual Mobile Phlebotomist, Drug Screen Collector, & Diagnostic Tester to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys flexibility and is passionate about patient care. You will perform specimen collections, including blood draws and urine samples, as well as diagnostic testing services such as EKGs and PFTs (Pulmonary Function Tests). Responsibilities include drug and alcohol testing at various locations, including client homes, workplaces, and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mobile phlebotomy services, including venipuncture and specimen collection.
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing following established procedures and protocols.
- Administer diagnostic tests, including EKGs and PFTs, as needed.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transport of specimens to the laboratory.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of collections, test results, and client interactions.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent HHDL with professionalism.
- Travel to various client sites as required, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse client base in both English and Spanish (or another specified language).
Qualifications:
- Certified Phlebotomist with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (or another specified language).
- MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification required.
- Experience in drug and alcohol specimen collection preferred (DOT certification is a plus).
- Experience performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and PFTs is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
- Preferred availability in the mornings.
Compensation:
- Travel stipend: $0.55 per mile for travel exceeding 20 miles.
- Same-day pay option available upon request (processing fee may apply).
