Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in navigating the product selection process.
- Educate customers on various cannabis strains, products, and their effects to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items or promotions effectively.
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate totals, provide change, and manage inventory levels.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and restocking as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, particularly in a similar environment.
- MUST have OMMA credentials.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
