The Program Director plays a pivotal role with our Clients and our Team Members. As the Program Director you (description is not all inclusive of duties):
- Assists with growing program services and collaborate to ensure the person’s needs are met
- Translates organizational strategy into program activities and goals.
- Monitors and reports program goal progress
- Adapts to program operations when changes arise
- Oversee daily program operations
- Appropriately handles people and/or process issues including emergency situations (including UI, MUI, OISPs, etc.).
- Participates in creation of budget and ensures adherence (includes billing and utilization as necessary)
- Reconciles client accounts
- Completes and submits reports accurately and timely
- Ensures staff is properly trained on service delivery and are held accountable for compliance
- Proactively collaborates with all departments and regulatory agencies
- Models HTHS’ Way and supervises direct reports ensuring their performance is aligned with HTHS’ and the policies and practices set for the department
- Ensure staff have what they need to deliver excellent/exceptional services to the individuals served
- Leads performance management for direct reports
- Fills in for staff when necessary
- Attend internal and external meetings and events as necessary
- Responds as the primary contact to rare “off hours” emergencies when necessary
- Represents HTHS to the public in a positive manner as appropriate.
Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or a minimum Associate degree in Social Work, Business, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 2-3 years of management experience, or alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible management experience. Excellent interpersonal skills across diverse individuals and groups. Must have the ability to acquire and maintain all certifications required for this position. Demonstrated superior supervisory skills. Valid driver’s license with fewer than six points and be insured. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software application platforms.
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday and may include weekends and/or evenings. The position includes being in an office environment as well as remote sites; and will require travel to other locations.
