The Healio News Editorial Intern will assist in gathering news and administrative tasks for our healthcare professionals website, Healio.com, and our print medical news publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing high-quality content
- Proofreading articles
- Conducting interviews with experts
- Maintaining accurate medical records through transcription
- Providing general office support
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in English, Journalism, or Communications
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively
- Desirable: previous editorial experience
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time opportunity, requiring 10 hours of work per week. The selected candidate must commit to a 5-hour shift, two days a week, during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm EST).
Limited On-Site Requirement:
Starting March 3, 2025, employees within a 50-mile radius will be required to work one day a week at our Thorofare, NJ location.
