Healix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our corporate team in Houston! Our recruiting and HR team work independently on a hybrid remote work arrangement. Candidates must be local or relocating to the Houston area.
The Human Resources Department plays a strategic role in the development and implementation of key business solutions at Healix. Our team is seeking an HR professional with the ability to drive the operational effectiveness of the department. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs for new and vacant positions.
- Effectively source top talent for assigned positions through networking, online resume searches, and screening Healix applications.
- Create innovative recruiting strategies to increase the number of qualified candidates and decrease the total number of days to fill positions.
- Manage the candidates experience from start to finish to ensure all applicants are treated with a high level of service.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to work proactively to ensure all daily tasks, functions, and special projects are completed; meets leadership and external deadlines and compliance requirements.
- Serve as a strategic partner to management and senior leadership in the implementation and execution of HR strategies.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reporting as requested to ensure the HR programs meet senior leadership strategic goals and expectations.
- Prepare and monitor employee performance reviews, serving as the HR consultant for leadership during conduct and performance improvement discussions.
- Assist with the design and implementation of performance management including career paths and succession planning programs.
- Approach all employee relations issues with tact and draw conclusions based on facts and provide recommendations to sensitive matters in a timely manner.
- Conduct all matters within the Human Resources functions with strict confidentiality in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company policy.
- Ability to adapt communication based on the situation and provide meaningful consultation and advice to all parties involved in matters requiring HR direction and/or assistance.
- Resolve simple to complex issues with a sense of urgency.
- Deliver exceptional people-centered services to employees, managers, and senior leadership.
- Perform all functions in HR as assigned in addition to the above. Please note this position requires strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and complete assignments timely, and proactively take on additional tasks and responsibilities as new requests and employee-related matters come up throughout the day. Our team cross-trains in all service functions we provide to ensure exceptional service is provided to employees, managers, executives, and clients alike.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) / Bachelor of Business, Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor and Employment Relations, or other relevant fields of study.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years experience in a position of Human Resources Generalist or above.
- Previous experience working in a consultative HR capacity preferred.
- Ability to work independently in the office or remotely with minimal supervision; remote work arrangement is subject to change at any time. Local candidates only please; relocation package is not provided.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Previous experience with Paycom a plus.
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) strongly preferred but not required.
