Position Summary
The Licensed Occupational Therapist coordinates and manages Occupational Therapy services to patients in their homes.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
Performs on-call duties as assigned
Assesses the patients functional ability to perform activities of daily living in the patients home.
Uses independent professional judgement to determine which standardized evaluative tests and tools and non-standardized measures will best meet the needs of the patient and yield the best diagnosis functional problems.
Minimum Requirements
Zero to two years related experience
Passed or eligible for the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Must maintain a valid North Carolina drivers license or be licensed in the state of residence and maintain the hospital required insurance limits.
Licensed or provisionally licensed by the State of North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Bachelor's Degree or higher.
