BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for administering all assigned daily activities related to operational tasks of the assigned business unit’s physical warehouse (e.g. packing, receiving, and shipping), striving to exceed organizational expectations; receive inbound packages and then check the items for quality and proper packaging, when necessary report any broken or damaged equipment to supervisor; create shipping labels as necessary and assemble supplies into kits for shipping out; ensure efficient use of warehouse space for all products, while keeping the assigned workplace clean, which may include emptying trash and sweeping floors; understand and support all departmental operating policies and procedures relating to receiving procedures and stay apprised of all changes to policies and procedures

MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Warehouse Functions - Administer all assigned daily activities related to operational tasks of the assigned business unit’s physical warehouse (e.g. packing, receiving, and shipping), striving to exceed organizational expectations while adhering to corporate and departmental policies and procedures
- Receive, review, pack, and process outbound orders as assigned from internal departments (e.g. Event Coordinators, Warehouse Admins) and implement information as necessary into the business unit’s inventory tracking tool (e.g. Scout) paying special attention for onsite event groupings
- Prepare pick lists and then select, scan, pack, and check outbound shipping orders
- Create shipping labels as necessary and assemble supplies into kits for shipping out
- Receive inbound packages and then check the items for quality and proper packaging, when necessary report any broken or damaged equipment to supervisor
- Responsible for receiving functions to include unloading and unpacking shipments received, verifying items received against packing slips, tagging items, maintaining a receiving log, and re-routing items to appropriate locations as necessary
- Understand and support all departmental operating policies and procedures relating to receiving procedures and stay apprised of all changes to policies and procedures
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space for all products, while keeping the assigned workplace clean, which may include emptying trash and sweeping floors
- Responsible for the organization of all items being stored, movement of all materials in and out, tracking, capital asset movement, and documentation
- Adhere to confidentiality requirements and all department policies and procedures
- Continually keep supervisor advised of workload concerns and ability to meet shipping deadlines
Team Interfaces/Customer Service - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members and department contacts
- Cooperate with team members to meet goals or complete tasks
- Provide quality customer service that exceeds customer expectations and improves level of service being provided
- Treat all internal/external customers, team members and department contacts with dignity/respect
- Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience
- Minimum of one year warehouse/inventory experience preferred
Other
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred
- Ability to work additional hours outside of regular assigned shift during peak season is preferred
The following physical and mental requirements may be required for this position.
Lifting:
- Frequent lifting of 15 to 45lbs from one location to another, and occasionally may need to lift up to 60 lbs
Equipment:
- May come in contact with various biometric screening tools (e.g. vials, syringes, blood pressure systems, etc.) as well as contained biohazardous materials
- General PC knowledge is preferred
Physical Movement:
- Continuous bending, stooping, grasping, balancing, standing, and walking
- Frequently may be asked to reach above shoulder, push objects, or do repetitive motions
- Ability to ascend or descend stairs as necessary
- May need to work in an elevated area, such as on a ladder
Making Decisions:
- As required, will need to make decisions and prioritize tasks which affect output and results
