This role provides public relations and marketing services for UC Health and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, including serving on project teams and generating material for print and online use. Serves as project representative and/or project backup to meet long- and short-range goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
- Occasionally serves as media representative for UC Health and University of Cincinnati Medical Center under the supervision of the media team and/or PR & Marketing management and participates in the on-call media rotation. Responsibilities include internal communications.
- Serves on a publications team to create communications for internal and external audiences, given set goals. Responsibilities include writing articles and developing brochures and Web content for projects that support individual departments, projects or services. Will be asked to submit written material to the Senior Consultant or Management for approval.
- Provides strategic counsel and support to departments that is consistent with system and hospital goals and objectives.
- Plays an integral role in project planning, coordination, execution and evaluation. Projects including marketing and advertising campaigns, events and seminars. Will assist in budget management for projects.
- Coordinates with internal and external resources (printers, mail rooms, IT, etc.) to ensure that projects are delivered on time and without error.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Required: B.A. or B.S. in journalism, communications, marketing or relevant field.
- Minimum Required: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office programs, excellent writing skills, familiarity with Associated Press Style, knowledge of graphic design and experience with photography.
- Comfortable with social media and Web communications.
- Enthusiasm for growth and learning.
