Key Responsibilities:
- Administer TMS Treatments: Set up and operate NeuroStar TMS equipment to deliver treatments as directed by the physician.
- Monitor Patients: Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatments, and monitor for any side effects or concerns.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the NeuroStar system to ensure it's functioning properly.
- Record-Keeping: Accurately document each patient’s treatment sessions and progress, ensuring all records are HIPAA-compliant.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the clinical team to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Patient Support: Provide education to patients about the TMS procedure and answer any questions they may have.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure all procedures comply with clinic standards, regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
Experience:
- At least 1 year experience as a TMS Technician or in a medical setting
- Familiarity with NeuroStar or other TMS equipment is a plus
Certifications (Preferred):
- TMS certification from an accredited program is preferred, though training may be provided.
Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
Attention to Detail:
- Ability to accurately record and document treatment sessions and patient progress.
Patient-Focused Attitude:
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused with a desire to provide excellent care.
HIPAA Compliance:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
