Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including overseeing administrative staff, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies. Our clinic offers medical services, chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage.
- We utilize the ChiroTouch electronic medical records system to manage patient records, schedule appointments, and process payments.
- Handle patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification professionally and efficiently.
- Post payments, collect co-pays, and manage billing processes in accordance with office policies and procedures.
- Interact with patients courteously and friendly, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
- Ensure office cleanliness and organization, including managing filing systems and maintaining a tidy reception area.
- Assist in marketing efforts and patient outreach initiatives, including contacting and reactivating old patients.
- Collaborate with the chiropractic team to optimize office flow and improve patient experience.
- Previous experience as an office manager or in a similar role in a healthcare setting, preferably in a chiropractic office.
- Proficiency with ChiroTouch or similar electronic medical records systems is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the success of the office.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certification in office management or healthcare administration is a plus.
