Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Athletic Trainer to join our team. This role involves providing on-site athletic training services to local high schools, colleges, and community events. In addition to offering direct care to athletes, you will play an integral part in the development and implementation of sports medicine programs and community education services. The position also includes promoting all services provided by our organization and department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Athletic Training Coverage: Provide athletic training coverage for assigned schools as per the contract agreement, ensuring the safety and well-being of student-athletes.
- Pre-participation Physicals & Education: Assist the team physician with pre-participation physicals and teach athletic training classes as needed.
- Injury Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough assessments of athletic injuries and recommend appropriate follow-up care, including referrals as necessary.
- Community Engagement: Provide coverage at local community events, assist with PASP (Physical Activity and Sports Program) initiatives, and help with sports medicine clinics and other community education programs.
- Marketing & Promotion: Actively market and promote all services offered by the Organization/Department to enhance visibility and engagement within the community.

- Must have a Bachelor of Science/Art degree
- Current and active Athletic Trainer license with the State of Ohio is required
- Current professional provider CPR Certification
- 2 years of clinical experience preferred
