Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Bus Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating the bus, adhering to a daily schedule, and ensuring the vehicle is in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Bus Maintenance: Ensure the bus is in good condition by performing regular maintenance tasks.
- Student Safety: Safely transport students to and from school, maintaining order and discipline on board.
- Communication: Interact courteously with passengers, parents, and school officials, providing excellent customer service.
- Record Keeping: Document any issues or complaints related to the bus or its operation.
Requirements
- Driver Requirements: Possess a valid NYS CDL License (P and S endorsements preferred).
- Background Checks: Have undergone background checks and have acceptable references.
