HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) seeks a skilled Medical Claims Examiner to join a respected Third Party Administrator (TPA) with 40 years of excellence in administering self-funded health insurance plans. This role emphasizes candidates with experience in Professional Benefit Administrators (PBA) or TPAs, ensuring their expertise aligns with the organization’s core focus.

Medical Claims Responsibilities:

• Check medical and dental claims for accuracy and completeness
• Decide if claims should be paid or denied based on policy rules
• Make sure medical coding and billing follow industry standards
• Look into and fix any problems with claims
• Talk to healthcare providers, insurance companies, and policyholders about claims.
• Keep good records of claims processing.

Medical Claims Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in medical claims examination or a similar job
• Skill in using medical collection systems and software
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and terms
• Understanding of medical/dental billing, including CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Great attention to detail and ability to read medical records accurately

This Job Requires:

• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of medical coding and billing
• Experience reviewing and analyzing medical claims
• Excellent communication skills to solve problems
