Senior Strategic Product Manager

Job Summary This position is responsible for competitive intelligence, market positioning, training and sales support for a portfolio of products in the complex and emerging health management and advocacy market. The role will be responsible for learning a portfolio of products and collaborating with Sales & Account Management to identify new markets, target client opportunities, and support the sales of new and existing product opportunities that are best fit for that client. The role will be responsible for creating and presenting client presentations, supporting requests for proposals, reporting on market penetration and new client opportunities, and ensuring overall client fit. The ideal candidate is someone with strong collaboration skills, intrinsic motivation for sales, an ability to create engaging presentations and have strong executive presence. Required Job Qualifications: *Bachelor degree in Business or Health Administration and 6 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR 11 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting * Experience leading and mentoring other staff. *Experience in managed care product development, benefits consulting or project management. *Experience working with corporate leadership, interfacing and communicating at all levels of the organization. *Experience managing multiple complex priorities and a heavy workload. *Organizational skills and detail-oriented. *Verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Job Qualifications: *Experience in sales, marketing, design or public relations *Experience in the health insurance, healthcare or consulting industries *Experience developing and presenting to internal and external clients *Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the use of PowerPoint and Design resources *Masters or MBA *The ability tomanage multiple initiatives at the same time, ensuring to manage to both time and quality THis role can be based in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX.
