Job Summary

BASIC FUNCTION

This position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the legal department, assisting attorneys and legal assistants in research and resolution activities, and preparing routine documents, agreements, and pleadings related to litigation and non-litigation matters.

This role will be providing responsible administrative and legal support to general counsel and staff attorneys; as well as interfacing with internal business partners and outside counsel on regulatory examinations and litigation to research and gather responsive materials.

NOTE : this role is hybrid / flex and requires in-office visibility three days per week, working from home the other two days.

Sponsorship is not available either now or in the future; relocation assistance will not be offered.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree OR Paralegal Certification 2 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department performing the functions of a Paralegal OR 4 direct years’ of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department performing the functions of a Paralegal.
• Knowledge of judicial system, court procedures, corporate policies, procedures, and company operations.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Team player

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills
• Understanding of Medicare or healthcare insurance industry

Base Pay Range

$48,600.00 - $107,300.00
