Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION
This position is responsible for preparing complex documents, agreements and pleadings related to litigation and regulatory matters; interfacing with internal business partners and outside counsel on regulatory examinations and litigation to research and gather responsive materials; responding to third party discovery request. Has a thorough understanding of best practices for document collections and production and an awareness all other aspects of the legal department's work and its context in the organization as a whole.
NOTE : this role is hybrid / flex and requires in-office visibility three days per week, working from home the other two days. Sponsorship is not available either now or in the future; relocation assistance will not be offered.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree 2 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department OR Paralegal Certification 4 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department OR 6 years of direct experience in a law firm or corporate legal department performing the functions of a Paralegal
- Knowledge of judicial system, court procedures, HCSC corporate policies, procedures, and company operations
- Detail and deadline orientation with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and move amongst tasks and changing priorities
- Advanced PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, resourcefulness, judgment, and problem solving skills
- Ability to translate technical requirements into understandable guidance
- Team player

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

54,800.00 - $121,100.00
