THE OPPORTUNITY - GI Hospitalist
THE LOCATION : Williamsport, Pennsylvania
Ready for a change? We have an excellent, full time opportunity available for a board certified or board eligible GI Hospitalist in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This team consists of Physician's and APPs and are committed to providing the latest techniques and advanced procedures for patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
Position highlights include :
- 7 days on / 7 days off block schedule
- Dedicated PA / NP support, available to round on inpatients and answer questions from hospitalists / nursing staff
- Inpatient consults and procedures with minimal outpatient procedures
- Dedicated procedure room available every day
- Average inpatient census - 3 to 6 new consults with total of 8 to 20 total patients
- All procedures are CRNA supported with anesthesiologist support and oversight
- Answering service takes after hours calls (prep issues, refills, etc)
- Collegial and supportive Hospitalist service
- Support from Interventional Radiology, Acute Care Surgery, Vascular Surgery
- Radiology with US, CT, MRI / MRCP available on campus
- Therapeutic endoscopist on staff (EUS / ERCP / luminal stenting, etc)
