PHYSICIAN - TFH/APC
The Physician uses and discloses patient protected health information:
1. Only as it applies to job functions.
2. In amounts minimally necessary for intended purpose.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
1. Provide such medical services for patients including but not limited to routine office visits, hospital, nursing home and emergency room services, age appropriate to Physician's' practice with specific permitted procedures determined via the medical staff credentialing process;
2. Maintain membership on Clinic's attending or provisional attending medical staff meetings and fulfill all obligations of Physician's respective staff membership category as required
3. Engage in community, civic, charitable and professional activities as part of mandatory professional growth.
4. Cooperate in marketing programs to enhance the visibility, acceptance and use of services
5. Assist with period in-services for technicians, nurses and other personnel and assist with decisions on personnel, operations and technical matters pertaining to services provided, including but not limited to equipment configuration and purchase, staffing , technical and procedure innovations
6. Keep proper, timely and complete medical records of services provided for all patients regardless of the type of service as required
7. Facilitate the ability to all office personnel to determine appropriate procedure and diagnosis codes and other information necessary for patient billing in a timely manner.
8. Comply with all our practice management and human resource policies;
9. Assist in the establishment, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures to maintain the quality of medical services provided by other physicians
10. Use best efforts to assist us to remain in compliance with the standards of the Joint Commission of the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and , where applicable, all similar accreditation standards imposed by federal, state or local agencies, with respect to the hospital and the family practice program
11. Continue to treat those patients for whom he/she provided professional services in the course of his/her practice prior to accepting employment
12. Physician shall accept for treatment such other patients determined by the Medical Director and Physician as appropriate for care by Physician taking into consideration physician's specialty, patient load and other factors which may reasonably restrict physician's ability to care for additional patients
Qualifications:
Physician, shall initially and throughout the term of employment meet each of the following qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certs: Licensed to practice medicine in state of Nebraska.
Experience/Prerequisites: Board eligible or board certified in family practice or identified specialty
Professional Growth and Development: Attend Category I continuing medical education programs or obtain Category I CME credits of at least 50 hours within a two year period
Generally work 4 days per week in the clinic and rotating Saturday mornings. On average you will see 15 to 20 clinic patients a day, and 3 to 4 at the hospital.
Must have a MD Nebraska license.
We also offer loan repayment assistance and sign on bonus.
Would prefer someone with experience as we have new PA’s starting this fall. We also have bonus opportunities, paid time off, days for continuing education, benefits and pension plan.

Qualifications:
Physician, shall initially and throughout the term of employment meet each of the following qualifications:
- Be duly licensed and otherwise legally qualified without restrictions or limitations to practice medicine in the state of Nebraska and hold current unrestricted state and federal Drug Enforcement Administration permits to prescribe medications including controlled substances
- Obtain and maintain membership on the attending or provisional attending medical staff of Clinics with appropriate practice privileges, pursuant to the qualifications and procedures set forth in Clinic Policies
- Follow and abide by all federal, state and municipal laws and ordinances related to the practice of medicine
- Obtain and provide evidence of malpractice coverage, "tail" coverage, for claims which may be made against Physician
- Comply with reasonable standards established by our malpractice insurance carrier in order to be eligible to be included as a covered employee under our malpractice insurance policy.
