Sonographer – Ultrasound
Schedule: Full time and part time positions available
Pay Range: $43.02 – $69.15/hour (based on level and certifications)
Weekend Differential: Additional $2.50/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in the areas of Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatrics, and small parts imaging, while working collaboratively with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams with precision, using sound judgment in anatomical measurements and image documentation
- Deliver exceptional patient care and maintain patient comfort throughout procedures
- Assist radiologists and other physicians with the interpretation of exams and ultrasound-guided procedures
- Transport patients to and from the department or other hospital areas as needed
- Monitor, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment; report any malfunctions
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives within the department
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotations
Qualifications:
- ARDMS certified or registry eligible
- Sonographer Level II, III, or IV based on additional certifications:
- High Risk OB (HROB)
- Musculoskeletal (MSK)
- Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
