Position Summary: Outpatient Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist SLP $60 hr !
Leading Rehabilitation Group is searching for an experienced Outpatient Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist SLP in El Paso, Texas. $60 plus per hour! Work a 4 day week - M-Th! No weekends! Candidate must be a highly enthusiastic, professional, compassionate SLP therapist who loves to help pediatric patients rehabilitate from various surgeries, injuries, and conditions! Will also take Clinical Fellowship CF candidates! Our therapists create a fun and nurturing therapy experience for children to help them achieve the greatest functional potential. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist SLP
- Participate in the development and periodic revision of the plan of care
- Schedules, plans activities and provides rehabilitative services for therapy
- Records type of treatment and patient’s reaction to it on clinical/progress notes, which are written on the day of the visit and incorporated in the patient’s record weekly.
- Instructs and counsels other health team personnel and family members in methods of assisting patient in improving, correcting, and accepting his/her disabilities
- Attends case conferences as requested
- Participates in staff development activities and in-service education as requested
Education & Experience: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist SLP
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an Accredited Program
- Current state SLP license
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
