Clinical PACU Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated PACU Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various nursing skills. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for general PACU duties, as well as assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health issues and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including acute pain management interventions.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Utilize basic life support techniques as necessary, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within electronic health systems.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a hospital setting
• 1 year PACU experience
• Active Compact License
• Epic Charting experience
