What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labor and Delivery Travel RN position at Health Carousel Nursing & Allied Health?
Overview:
Health Carousel Nursing & Allied Health is seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This opportunity is for day shift 36hrs per week. Blocked scheduling allowed if willing to work Friday-Sunday. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
- 2 years’ experience in High-Risk Labor and Delivery.
- Circulate in Operating Room as the primary nurse.
- Newborn experience including obtaining VS and glucose monitoring immediately after delivery.
- Prefer 3 months EPIC experience including OP time charting
Duties:
- Monitor and interpret patient data
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Educate patients and their families on health management
Experience:
-2 years’ experience in High-Risk Labor and Delivery.
-Circulate in Operating Room as the primary nurse.
-Newborn experience including obtaining VS and glucose monitoring immediately after delivery.
-Prefer 3 months EPIC experience including OP time charting
- Trauma Level I experience
- 600 Bed Facility Experience
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- EPIC experience (Preferred)
-Travel experience (Preferred)
