PCU/Stepdown - Nights
- 2 years experience required.
- **Epic experience REQUIRED***
- The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region
- Respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi system organ disfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, surgical complications, include some of our top DRGs.
- Must be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations, ACLS, and advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per our titration protocols. Antihypertensive drips, sedative and Narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, a line, cvp, EVD, ortho traction, infection prevention protocols. HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent.
- Nurses with large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience tend to do well in our area.
- Average patient load is 3 high acuity patients.
- 36 Hours/wk
