Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Travel MRI Technologist to join our team of allied healthcare professionals. This is a travel job opportunity that requires working 12 hour night shifts, 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment, ensuring accurate diagnostic images are produced. They will work closely with medical staff to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the efficient functioning of the hospital or imaging facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain equipment in good working order, adhering to safety protocols
- Assist radiologists and other medical staff during procedures
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and minimizing anxiety
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve smooth workflow and high standards of patient care
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist
- Experience working in a hospital or imaging facility setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
