The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Norfolk, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological services for all. Your Role:
- Provide psychological assessments to develop an appropriate level of treatment in accordance with relevant ethical and legal standards
- Conduct and complete psychological and diagnostic testing to measure cognitive abilities, diagnosis of developmental and intellectual disabilities, and prepare written evaluation
- Provide services appropriate to the age-specific needs of all patients, and their families, in accordance with the principles of growth and development for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric life cycles
- Conduct mental health screenings
- Manage psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute diseases Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomes
What We Are Looking For:
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA / CPA accredited or equivalent doctoral program with an APA / CPA accredited or equivalent doctoral internship required
- Licensed or license eligible as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Nebraska, or provisionally licensed in the state of Nebraska and ability to obtain with 24 months required
- Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
- Experience in crisis intervention preferred
- Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served individuals
- Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships
