HCSET is seeking an experience full time Pharmacy Tech
Salary based on experience
Benefits include PTO and Holidays. HCSET pays for health premiums for employee only.
The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist with prescription management and communicating with clinic staff about patient medications. The technician will need to communicate with patients over the phone and in the pharmacy while offering excellent customer service. Additionally, our pharmacy technicians will need to learn the 340B medication program.
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
· Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system
· Answer incoming calls and field patient questions
· Contact clinic staff to clarify prescription information
· Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
· Answer patient questions and address customer service issues if they arise
· Assist pharmacist with maintaining the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders
· Assist with 340B recordkeeping
· All other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
